Sometimes pets develop conditions requiring a food change, from the type you would find at the local pet store to a prescription diet food only found at a veterinarian’s office. Your pet’s veterinarian will help you make the right decision should his/her dietary needs change. MRAH carries the full line of Hill’s Prescription Diet foods, some of the Royal Canin prescription diet foods, and some of the Purina Veterinary Diets. Please call us if you are looking for something specific for your pet. If we don't have it, we would be glad to order it for you.
We encourage comprehensive health screenings and early detection programs for aging pets. A geriatric consultation can determine what arthritis medications, if any, would be best suited for your older pet. Our doctors can provide a variety of services, blood work and/or dietary management your older pet needs for continued happiness. This is especially pertinent for those pets with joint and skeletal issues who may need our help with pain management.
We are strong believers in the importance and life-saving benefits of microchips! If your pet isn’t microchipped already; what are you waiting for? Microchips are a safe, permanent means of identification. Unlike collars and tags that can slip away, or be taken off, a microchip stays with your pet forever. We provide this service at MRAH without an appointment, any time during our office hours. Our pets are microchipped with HomeAgain Microchips & we take care of mailing all of the forms in for you!
