In order to give you and your pet time and attention you deserve, we see our patients by appointment. Please give us a call at 317-228-0645 or click here to request an appointment now. If your pet is experiencing an emergency please give us a call to let us know you are on the way and we will see you immediately on arrival. We see appointments Monday through Saturday with evening hours Monday and Thursday nights. If you would prefer to see a certain doctor please let us know so we can accommodate your wishes.
When you arrive for your appointment, please keep your dog on a leash and your cat in a secure carrier. Does your cat hate to travel in the carrier? Is the car ride super stressful? Please check out our videos page for some excellent videos we hope will make it easier to get your kitty in to see us. We have a separate waiting area for our feline friends to make them more comfortable. Even though your pet may be outgoing and friendly–some of our patients are afraid, don't feel well, and don't want to socialize.
What doesn’t require an appointment? If your pet is already one of our patients and current on vaccinations, then nail trims, suture removals, microchips, anal gland expressions, kennel cough vaccinations, heartworm tests, and pottypatch trims do not require an appointment.
When should you arrive for your pet's appointment? If you are new to our hospital, please click the following link-New Client Registration Form-fill it out and arrive about 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Also, please bring any previous medical history you may have regarding your pet. With your authorization, we would be glad to call your previous veterinarian to have it faxed or e-mailed directly to us. For pets that are already patients of ours please arrive at least five minutes before your appointment. We need this time to talk to you in detail regarding any current problems and to get your pet checked in.
What should I do if I can’t make my appointment? We do not charge a fee for a missed appointment, however as a courtesy to us we would like to hear from you as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment or if you are running late. We would also like the opportunity to reschedule your appointment.
Should your pet require hospitalization we realize one way to speed up the healing process is for your pet to spend time with you. Ask us if visitation would be advisable during your pet's stay. In some circumstances visitation is not ideal, however in general we encourage it.
Once treatment is complete your pet will be released to you and one of our doctors or staff will discuss home care instructions with you. Feel free to call our office anytime if you have questions about your pet’s treatment and home care at 317-228-0645.
We do expect payment in full at the completion of services. We would be glad to provide you with an estimate for any services at your request. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card, personal checks with proper identification, and cash as forms of payment. A number of our clients have pet insurance for their pet’s medical needs. It is somewhat different than our health insurance in that you make the payment at the time services are rendered.
