The cold weather we are experiencing in Indianapolis & surrounding states this winter is downright dangerous for us as well as our pets. Just because your pet is wearing a coat of fur, doesn't mean that they are immune to the effects of the near zero and sub zero temps outside. Check out this video from The Pet Health Network about how you can protect your four legged baby from the cold.
If you think your pet is suffering from exposure or frostbite please call us immediately at 317-228-0645.
I am ready for Spring!!! When do I get my dog tested for heartworms and start preventive?
Thank you for your comment B. We are ready for spring too! We would recommend you get your dog tested for heartworm disease now, and get that preventative started as soon as possible. We actually recommend that our clients keep their dogs on heartworm preventative every month, all year long. Our winters are historically not as severe as what we just experienced. The products we recommend offer 100% guarantees as well when you are giving them to your pet all year round too. Feel free to give us a call at 317-228-0645 so we can chat with you more fully about your heartworm testing, heartworm disease & your pet's health needs as we move on into spring. The bugs will be out before we know it!
